SATELLITE TOWNSHIP AT THIRUMAZHISAI 

Satellite Townships (ST) are smaller metropolitan areas created near to larger metropolitan cities essentially to accommodate the growing population and infrastructure needs of people migrating from small towns to big cities. ST’s are themselves a city within itself, self sufficient and modern in every aspect, one because it is planned as an after thought so as to not repeat the mistakes of developing metros now unable to handle the huge population growth and two, to ease the infrastructure and resources of big cities which are designed at a different time period.
